Blessing Bags
Blessing Bags are gallon-sized bags that are filled with a small assortment of basic toiletries, socks, snacks, a Bible passage, etc.  These are given to the homeless or to anyone who appears to be in need.  The Blessing Bags give people a few items to help them through their day and it also gives them hope in knowing that they are loved in the name of Jesus. The fall season is a season of giving thanks and giving to others.   Please contribute to these projects this month.  Bridgeport Rescue Mission Green Bean Collection – Collecting 500 cans of green beans for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission’s Thanksgiving Project. A new GriefShare 13 week session will run on Tuesdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. starting  March 26 and will end on June 13. Summer Vacation Bible School Save the Date for this summer’s exciting new VBS program: Shipwrecked  Dangerous Journey to Share the Truth to be held Monday, August 13 –17 with the closing ceremony on Sunday, August 19 during the worship service. ACO Concert, March 3

American Chamber Orchestra The American Chamber Orchestra presents the Winter Concert on Saturday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. This will be a special concert of Gilbert and Sullivan music from four favorite operettas: Pirates of Penzance, Mikado, Iolanthe and Yeoman of the Guard. Joining the orchestra for this concert will be members of the Connecticut Gilbert and Sullivan Society. Suggested contribution is $20 for adults and $10 for students.
