At their February meeting, the Session voted to resume in-person Worship services on March 7 based on:
the reduction in the Covid-19 positivity rate
reduction of hospitalizations in Connecticut
the forecasted trend of a decline in new cases and hospitalizations
the increasing number of people receiving vaccines.
We will continue to broadcast the services so that everyone will be able to hear the preaching of God’s word.
We are committed to creating a spiritually meaningful service for all who are gathered. The worship will follow a different format that will limit the amount of congregation participation. Your safety is our priority so we will adhere to the following state guidelines that we practiced in the fall. More details will be emailed in the week to come.
We strongly encourage anyone in the following groups to please stay home and continue to worship with us virtually:
Individuals in a high- risk group who have not yet been fully vaccinated such as those who are immuno-compromised or 75 and over
Those who are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19 (fever, cough, loss of smell/taste, shortness of breath, congestion)
Those who had recent contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19
