Mark your calendars and plan to join our first annual First Presby Day: A day of fellowship and faith, Saturday, June 22.
First Presby Day will be a day of meaningful good works and fellowship where church members and friends come together to volunteer their time—whether painting, planting, building, or cleaning—and end the day with sharing, a potluck dinner and live music.
This is a chance to put our faith into action, to work together side-by-side helping others, which is our spiritual worship. We encourage you to bring a friend who would enjoy the volunteer workday and/or enjoy a casual dinner and lively music.
The day will have three parts, with the understanding that all parts may not work for everyone, but will be designed so that everyone can participate where it best suits them. All hands and hearts are welcome!
Late morning, early afternoon: A Time For Service: Habitat for Humanity, Operation Hope, Curiale School, First Presbyterian Church, and others
Early Evening: Potluck Dinner
Evening: (Family friendly) Benefit Concert, presented by Kristin Butler and other professional musicians
Plan to join in and help make First Presby Day a success. Contact Pat Piddington (Outreach), Wendy Rappel (Mission) or Scott Sharp (Fellowship) to sign up or for more information.
