Rev. Gregory Penza
MinisterGreg grew up in New Jersey and attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2003. After serving for three years as the Director of Operations for The Foundation for Peace in the Dominican Republic, he felt the call to ministry and attended the Mizpa Theological Seminary in the Dominican Republic in 2009. He then went on to Princeton Theological Seminary, graduating in 2011. He was ordained when he was called to the Woodside Presbyterian Church in Yardley, PA as an Associate Pastor/Director of Young Adult and Youth Ministry. After 4 years at Woodside, he felt called to revitalize a church, and with the support of Woodside church and the Philadelphia Presbytery, he became the solo pastor at Parkland Church in Langhorne, PA in 2016.
Greg and his wife Melissa have a two-year old daughter, Violette, and a one-year old son, Ben. They believe that God has called them to First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield not only to bless the congregation but to lead the congregation beyond the walls of the building to bless the community at large.
Minister of Outreach and Discipleship
Liz did her undergraduate work at Liberty University and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity through Sioux Falls Seminary. She has been working in various areas of ministry over the past twenty years. Over the years, the Lord has given Liz a passion for discipleship and outreach. Her heart is to strengthen discipleship within the church and to go beyond the walls of the church to share the good news with others.
Liz and her husband Dan have been married for almost eighteen years. They have three children, Caleb, Ethan and Ainsley.
Laurie did her undergraduate work in music at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She later received a Master, Music Education from the University of Bridgeport. She has studied with Dr. Louise Miller, Olga Antonuk, Rosa Rio, and later with Everett Hilty, Don Vollstedt and Cherry Rhodes.
She is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the American Guild of Organists, and the National Association of Music Educators.
