Varsity runs weekly from 7:00-8:30 pm on Sunday evenings in our Youth Room below our Brooks Hall gym.

Varsity is all about taking things to the next level. Here we focus not just on what we believe, but how can I make it my own? We engage in real, sometimes hard, dialogue about the struggles of life, school, relationships, and questions of faith.

We kick things off on Sundays at 7:00 pm with a time of teaching and discussion in our Youth Room, before transitioning to some classic games designed to deepen relationships. We wrap things up at 8:30 pm in Brooks Hall. Got questions about faith? Looking to get connected to a mission that is bigger than yoursef? Come and see what Varsity is all about.

Student Ministry Mission and Values

The mission of the student ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield is to provide a welcoming and safe community for its youth and their friends in grades 6-12 where God’s love is proclaimed and faith in Christ is cultivated and deepened so that students are prepared for lives of discipleship and humble service.

We value Relationships. We strive to be a community where everyone feels welcome and is recognized and accepted in the hopes that all might experience God’s grace and unconditional love.

We value Service. We love because God first loved us, and so we strive to be aware of others’ needs, showing Christ’s compassion, concern, and care for all.

We value Discipleship. We are grounded in Scripture and seek to be more like Jesus, living out the fruits of the Spirit, remembering that God is the center of everything we do.
