Children’s Ministry

During our Sunday services, children worship with their parents before being dismissed to their Small Groups (middle and high school students are encouraged to participate in the worship service with their parents). Based on ORANGE's 252 Basics and First Look, FPC's Children’s Ministry offers a small group for all children ages 3 through 5th grade, with the Crib Room available for children 2 and younger.

Infants to Age 2 - Go to the Crib/Toddler Room on the 1st floor of the Christian Ed. Wing
Ages 3 and 4 - Go to the Yellow Room on the 1st Floor of the Christian Ed. Wing
Ages 4 through Grade 5 - Go to the classrooms on the 2nd Floor of the Christian Ed. Wing

J.A.M. Session

J.A.M. Session (‘Jesus and Me’ Session), is FPC's program designed for children between kindergarten and 5th grade. During J.A.M. Session, children will continue their worship in song, take up an offering, hear a lesson as one large group, and split into three small groups based on their grade to further discuss the main lesson. One of the major purposes of our J.A.M. Session is to deeply examine what it means to have a relationship with Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Explorers and Little Explorers

Explorers is FPC's program for 3 and 4 year old children, while Little Explorers is for our children ages 2 and younger. Both Explorer classes are a place where our children first learn about the love of God, how God made them, and how Jesus wants to be their friend forever. The children will also experience praise songs, a lesson, and some type of craft to instill the lesson they were taught.
